Joseph Joel Pollak  |  Co-Founder and CEO
Mr. Pollak brings extensive experience in computer algorithm design and product management to his role as CEO. He began his career at Mobileye Vision Technologies where he led several production and R&D projects with top automakers. After 6 years at Mobileye, Mr. Pollak moved to INSEAD business school where he completed his MBA studies with distinction and founded Sight Diagnostics, ultimately winning the prestigious INSEAD Business Venture Competition with SightDx as his entry. Mr. Pollak holds a B. Sc. in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and was a member of the distinguished Talpiot military program.
Sarah Levy Schreier  |  Senior VP Research and Development
Mrs. Schreier has extensive experience in leading R&D teams in diverse technological fields. She began her career in the elite Israeli Defense Force ‘Talpiot’ program, graduating class valedictorian and working for 10 years in several strategic positions. During her service, she worked as a systems engineer and product manager in several complex projects in the fields of electro-optics and telecom. Later she led a section of over 40 programmers and engineers in the field of cyber security. Before joining Sight Diagnostics she led a research team in the field of online marketing. Mrs. Schreier holds a B.Sc. magna cum laude in Physics & Mathematics from the Hebrew University, and an M.Sc in Condensed Matter Physics from the Weizmann Institute.
Yochay Eshel  |  VP Algorithms and Physics
Mr. Eshel has extensive background in various R&D projects and computer algorithm design. After earning a B.Sc. in Physics jointly with an B.A. in the Amirim Humanities Honors Program from the Hebrew University, Mr. Eshel continued to the Weizmann Institute to earn a M.Sc. in Physics, concentrating on high energy physics. Following his studies, he joined BrightSource Energy Inc., where he worked and led several innovative R&D projects to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of utility scale solar energy power plants. At SightDx Mr. Eshel leads a team of outstanding Algorithm developers and physicists, including several graduates of the IDF elite ‘Talpiot’ program and Physics Ph.D.s.
Assaf Amitay  |  VP Commercial
Mr. Amitay has a wide-ranging experience in strategy building, implementations of organizational turnarounds, project management, and building best-in-class teams. Assaf has a Proven track record in leading heterogeneous teams towards over-achievement, in stressed environments, working closely with senior management, sales and channel organizations.
After graduating from the Israeli flight academy with the highest distinction award, receiving his flight wings from the Israeli Prime minister, Assaf held positions at some of the world’s largest technology & consulting companies, including IBM, Mckinsey & Company and Check Point Software Technologies. Prior to joining SightDX, Assaf managed the sales operations division in Check Point Software technologies, leading multidisciplinary teams in the USA, Europe and Israel.  Amongst his achievements are designing and implementation of Check Point’s new global partner program, and the creation of $150M pipeline of new customers.
Mr. Amitay holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Bar Ilan University, and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Bar Ilan University.
Daniel Levner Ph.D.  |   Co-Founder and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board 
Dr. Levner has an extensive background in the development and commercialization of technology. He has formal training both in optical/electrical engineering and in biology, as well as substantial experience with biological imaging, microfluidics, microbiology and biochemistry. This unusual background gives Dr. Levner a unique perspective on how technology and biology inter-operate in a complete product. Furthermore, Dr. Levner has a strong entrepreneurial past with a specific focus on the commercialization of research. He has founded and advised a number of biotechnology and photonics companies, and he has extensive expertise in the leadership of R&D teams. Dr. Levner holds a B.Sc. in Engineering Science from University of Toronto, an M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, also from Stanford University. He completed his postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and is presently a Senior Scientist at Harvard’s Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering.
