In this webinar, you will learn about ‘CURIAL-Rapide AI’ screening test, which leverages patients’ routine vital signs and CBC results to predict the likelihood of a patient having COVID-19. This webinar is led by Dr. Andrew Soltan from the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and hosted by Tony Cambridge, the Lead Biomedical Scientist at the University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.

In this webinar, Dr. Soltan provides an overview on how the CURIAL algorithm was developed and proven to be an effective and efficient triage tool that can rule out COVID-19 quickly, compared to other testing methods. Dr. Green explains the technology behind Sight OLO, a compact CBC analyzer that has been used to provide lab-grade CBC results as part of the CURIAL-Rapide AI screening test. This screening test enables clinicians to recommend the best triage and care pathways in the ED in under 30 minutes, while minimizing the risk of spreading COVID-19 in the hospital.

The panelists also have a lively exchange around the topics of point of care technology and the role of accurate, convenient and rapid CBC in the hospitals as well as in the communities.
